SCHOOL HOLIDAYS |  My kids have already been off almost 4 weeks, loving days out and memory making.

ROCK N KOHL EYELINER |  So black, stays forever and great to smudge.

VALENTINO DONNA PERFUME | My favourite perfume this summer

SALT SPRAY |  I've used this all summer. Perfect if you've been on the beach or if you haven't least your hair will look like you have ;)

COCKTAILS |  What's not to love?

MY GARDEN |   Always love relaxing with a glass of rosé, bbq's, pizza oven, seating area, twinkly lights, gorgeous views.

POKEMON GO |  No explanation needed.

I am NOT LOVING the latest mascara from Charlotte Tilbury : Legendary Lashes.... It has got to be the worst mascara I have ever used.

So way back in January after the disastrous decision that was the fringe, and the many tears shed, I vowed to never touch my beautiful hair ever again! Wtf was I actually thinking!!!

Fast forward seven months and I decided on another drastic cut, this time not on a whim, I had actually thought about this decision for around a month.

Although it may not seem too drastic to some, to me, someone who's had long hair for years it was HUGE!

But for that reason alone I decided to get the chop. I did love my long hair but I'd had the same long hair for years and I was in desperate need of a change.

I decided to go for a 'Lob' (long bob)  and I love it. Its a lot shorter (around 10 inches)  than I'm used to but I like the edgier, choppy, textured look and I find it still long enough to tie up should I wish.

Its also very versatile as I can still wave it for the beachy tousled look (which is probably my go to look ), smoothe straight for a sleek finish, or tie up.

I am glad that I decided to have a change, I think ill go a touch shorter next time and judging by my Facebook and instagram comments, as well as fashion magazines the general vibe was that shorter styles seem to be more trendier and modern right now.

Last weekend we decided on a last minute trip up to Glasgow to visit family.

I always love visiting Glasgow , it is such a beautiful, cultural vibrant city with lots to see and do.

More often than not we always end up doing a little shopping :)
Glasgow is great for shopping , there is definitely something for everybody.

The 'Style Mile' around Buchanan Street, Argyle Street and Merchant City is a fashion hub, while the West End has a quirkier vibe with more bohemian options.

Glasgow has some fantastic restaurants and great bars. We always try and visit somewhere new each time.
As we were already in the City Centre,we decided to eat a late lunch at Jamie Olivers Italian in George Square.

I am wearing an off the shoulder floral dress from Lasula, teamed with a leather biker jacket and ankle boots. You can get 15% off everything from the Lasula website using code 'HAYLEYG15

As much as I love my kids and love spending lots of time with them, I also love spending time alone with Paul enjoying a date night.

On this particular night I only took 4 pictures (low quality on my iPhone ) and only one whist out which is not like me at all.
But then paul does get a little pissed off when I always ask him to take pictures!!!

I wore a nude body suit and black ripped mom jeans from Lasula, choker and heels.

I think this was the last picture before I got my hair chopped. ( Hair post coming soon )

A summer staple of mine would have to be an off the shoulder top and distressed denim shorts.

Summer?  What summer?
Now I know this summer so far as been dire (praying it gets better!)  but on the odd occasion that the sun comes out, this would be my go to look.

Off the shoulder tops are absolutely everywhere at the moment and can be teamed with shorts, jeans, skirts or trousers. This kind of top showcases the shoulders and gives off a sexy vibe without being too revealing. It is probably my favourite kind of top for warmer days or summer evenings.

This particular top has a useless set of spaghetti style straps but they just annoy me so I tuck them in. It also has a longer than normal floaty half sleeve - so perfect for people who don't like to show the tops of their arms.

Its quite floaty and looks great out but I like to tuck it into a pair of denim shorts.

When it comes to denim shorts I like to buy in a larger size than normal for extra room and no bulging or overhang. But I just bought my normal size in these one as they are super soft and have plenty of stretch and are slightly high waisted.

I have realised that I haven't done any beauty posts in a while ( I will get back to youtube vids soon) so decided to do a quick post on my favourite Charlotte Tilbury lip products.

As you probably already know a nude lip is my go to colour- think Mac Creme de nude, Hue, or Creme Cup should I want something more pink. So you might of guessed and yes you were right, that my selection are all relatively nude toned - boring I know, sorry!

The lipsticks are well worth the £23 price tag. They are laden with oxidants to prevent UV damage and a special blend of waxes that make it glide on like a dream and make my lips feel in the words of Charlotte 'Cashmere Soft'.

The three that I use the most are Nude Kate, Penelope Pink and Very Victoria.

Charlotte Tilbury has been working on the faces of celebrities for many years and each of her lipsticks are named after celebs she has previously made up. Nude Kate = Kate Moss

The three that I use the most are Nude Kate, Penelope Pink and Very Victoria.  Next on my list is Kim K.W

The Cheat lip liners are equally impressive and stay put without feathering. As the name suggests the liner enables you to cheat your way to a fuller, more defined, balanced lip.

The two that I use that go perfect with my lipsticks are Pillow Talk and Iconic Nude.

The lip glosses are fantastic and if you love high gloss, mirrored shine that stays for hours then these are for you.

My favourites are Blondie, Seduction and Hall of Fame (especially over Very Victoria to lighten it)

I actually sound like I'm trying to sell it! I'm not, nor did I get it free! I just really like the lip and eye products.
The foundation though is still up for questioning - I like it, just don't love it- yet, but I'm still going with it.

Let me know your thoughts, favourite colours or ones you recommend I should try. xx

Last Saturday Paul and I went out for dinner with my brother and his girlfriend.

As we were on holiday last month and missed his birthday, it was kind of a belated birthday celebration.

It was also the first time that they have been out since having baby Lyla, my gorgeous niece just 4 weeks ago.

We went to a local Italian restaurant and had a few drinks in the bar with some friends who were also eating there.

It was quite humid so I decided to wear a lightweight off the shoulder jumpsuit.

I am loving all things off the shoulder at the moment and will be blogging more on this as well as the cold shoulder trend.

This jumpsuit is comfortable to wear and great for a low key meal. It was the contrasting colours and the cropped length that sold it for me. The back is also particularly nice as it is slightly opened but not too much. Sorry I didn't get a picture of the back or any pictures whilst out.

It is also a perfect piece to take away on holiday. The only annoying thing is that it creases really easy- I swear it was ironed twice before I put it on, and it still looks creased!  xx

Here is my four week old gorgeous niece Lyla Rose born on 5th June 2016
