As a trained makeup artist, it is paramount for me to use good quality tools. Top quality products and tools does not necessarily mean they have to have a top price tag to match as I have found.
I have recently purchased the Real Techniques stippling brush by Samantha Chapman -one half of youtube guru Pixiwoo- and I have to admit I am absolutely hooked, and it is now my new secret weapon to achieving a high definition airbrush finish.
I would class this brush as a mid range priced product at £11.99 around half the price of other stippling brushes on the market from companies such as Mac, Bobbi Brown etc.
The dual fibre brush is made from 100% cruelty free synthetic taklon bristles, perfect for mouse, powder, liquid and cream products.
I currently use the brush for applying liquid foundation. The bristles are quite shorter than other stippling brushes I have tried, therefore perfect for buffing in foundation smoothlywithout visible streaks or lines..
I have also used it for cream blush application and again I was impressed as it gave a flawless airbrushed effect.
I found that that after washing, the brush retained all the bristles well with no fall out. This is great news and value for the price as many other more expensive brands on the market continually shed after every wash.
I would definitely recommend this multi purpose, versatile little gem of a brush to others.
The stippling brush along with the rest of the Real Techniques collection is now available in Boots stores from mid February.
